Why envelope detail matters.
Most "bad siding jobs" aren't siding problems — they're flashing and housewrap problems. Water finds every weakness. We tape every seam in the housewrap, install sill pans at every window, and kick-out flashings at every roof-wall intersection. You don't see any of this once the siding goes on, but it's why our envelope lasts 40+ years.
What shapes the scope of a siding job.
No two houses measure out the same, so we scope and quote each one on its own. The things that move the work most are wall area and how many stories there are, gables and dormers that need staging, the material you choose (vinyl, fiber cement, cedar shake, or engineered wood), how much sheathing turns out to be soft once the old siding comes off, the amount of trim and window wrapping involved, and what the town requires for permits and inspections. We'd rather find the rot on the walkthrough than surprise you mid-job, so we look before we quote. Call (631) 983-8079 and we'll come out, measure, and put a free written quote in your hands within 24–48 hours.
