Materials we work with.

  • Composite — Trex Transcend, TimberTech AZEK, Fiberon Concordia. Low-maintenance.
  • Cedar & redwood — classic look, ages silver-grey, needs oiling every 2–3 years.
  • Ipe & mahogany — tropical hardwoods, 40+ year lifespan, premium cost.
  • Pressure-treated pine — most affordable, 15–20 year lifespan with proper sealing.

Built-in extras.

Custom railings (aluminum, cable, glass), built-in benches and planters, stairs to grade, under-deck drainage systems, low-voltage lighting, pergolas, and integrated outdoor kitchens. We can design the whole outdoor living space in one pass.

Code & permits.

Every deck in Suffolk County that's over 30" above grade requires a permit and sealed plans. We handle the application, engineering (in-house), and final inspection.

What drives the cost of a deck.

We don't publish deck prices, because no two backyards price the same. What moves the number is the footprint and shape, the height above grade (which decides footing depth, framing, and whether guardrails and a stair run are required), the decking and railing material you choose, and how the site behaves — soil and water table, tree roots, slope, and how easily a crew and a load of lumber can reach the back of the house. Add-ons like under-deck drainage, lighting, benches, or a pergola change the scope again, and so does permit and inspection work in your town.

Rather than guess, we come out and look. Call (631) 983-8079 and we'll walk the property, take measurements, talk through materials, and put a free written quote in your hands — itemized, no obligation, typically within 24–48 hours. Senior and military homeowners get 10% off.
