Why installation matters more than the door.
A top-of-the-line Andersen unit installed poorly leaks just as badly as a builder-grade slab off the big-box shelf. We pan-flash the rough opening, shim at every hinge, install proper weatherstripping, and caulk with OSI Quad — not silicone. That's why our doors still close right in year 15.
What shapes a door quote.
There's no menu price on a door, because no two openings are alike. What matters is whether the rough opening is square and the framing behind it is sound, whether we're swapping a unit into an existing hole or cutting and headering a new one, the door line and glass package you choose, the hardware, and whether the job also calls for a new sill pan, trim, or repairs to rotted sheathing underneath. Sliders and multi-panel patio units carry their own considerations — weight, track prep, and how many hands it takes to set them safely.
We'd rather measure than guess. Call (631) 983-8079 and we'll come out, check every opening, and put a free written quote in your hands within 24–48 hours — no obligation, and ask about our 10% senior & military discount.
