What we install.

- Vinyl siding — CertainTeed, Mastic, Alside double-4" and board-and-batten profiles
- Cedar shake & clapboard — hand-nailed, primed on all six sides
- LP SmartSide — engineered wood
- Accent trim & architectural details — PVC window casings, corner boards, frieze, dentil
What's under the siding matters more.
Good siding over bad flashing leaks. We install new housewrap (Tyvek DrainWrap or Hydrogap rainscreen on shingle), proper window head flashing, kick-out flashing at roof-wall junctions, and continuous z-flashing at horizontal transitions. You'll never see any of it — but it's the difference between a 40-year siding job and a 10-year one.
What drives the cost of a siding job.
No two houses price the same, so we don't publish a number that would only mislead you. What actually moves a siding quote is the material you choose (vinyl, engineered wood, and fiber-cement all install differently), the square footage and shape of the walls, how many stories and dormers the crew has to stage around, the condition of the sheathing once the old siding comes off, and how much trim, casing, and flashing detail the design calls for. Tear-off and disposal of old layers, window and door wraps, and town permit requirements all factor in too.
We measure the house, look behind the old siding wherever we can, and put the whole scope in writing — line by line, so you can see what you're paying for and what you're not. Call (631) 983-8079 and we'll set up a free on-site visit; the written quote follows within 24–48 hours.
