The handshake standard.
We've run this company the same way since 1989: one dedicated project manager per job, our own crews, and a handshake standard where we'd rather eat a cost than leave a homeowner unhappy. That sentence isn't marketing — it's the actual decision rule we use when something is disputed on a job site.
In practice it means we're the one who picks up the phone a year later if a nail pop appears, and the one who pulls the permit even when nobody made us.
How to make a claim (there's no process to learn).
There's no warranty portal, claim form, or ticket number. Call (631) 983-8079 — the same number you called for the estimate — and tell us what you're seeing. Where it's practical, send a photo to justenterprise1@aol.com so the PM can size it up before coming out.
Your project manager already knows your house, so you won't be re-explaining the job to a stranger.
What's in writing, and where.
The terms that apply to your specific project — scope, materials, and what we're responsible for — are spelled out in your written contract before you sign. Every estimate we issue is written and line-itemed for the same reason: so what's included and what isn't is on paper, not in someone's memory.
Manufacturer warranties on products.
Separate from our work, the products we install — windows, doors, siding, flooring, cabinetry — carry their own manufacturer warranties. Those belong to you as the homeowner. We hand over the product documentation at the end of the job so it's in your file, not lost in a truck.
Manufacturer coverage varies a great deal by product and by how it's installed, which is a large part of why we're particular about installation details — a warranty is only as good as the install underneath it.
Licensed, insured, and bonded — the part that protects you.
A guarantee is only worth as much as the company behind it. We carry NY License #H0309970000, active general liability, and workers' compensation on every employee — so if someone is injured on your property, that's covered and you're not liable.
Before you sign a contract we're happy to email our complete certificate package. It's a 30-second ask and a homeowner's best protection — with any contractor, not just us: justenterprise1@aol.com.
